Fat removal (Liposuction)
Contours return
One of the biggest misunderstandings about liposuction or liposuction is the assumption that overweight people are getting slim again. This is not true. Rather, in such an intervention, those hereditary or hormone-related fat pads are to be removed, which can not be reduced by sports or diet. The liposuction is the icing on the cake, so to speak, - the effect remains lifelong. A subsequent weight increase or decrease does not change the new proportions.
How is liposuction performed?
First of all, our specialists will discuss with you what is possible and what suits your appearance. On the day of the surgery, our team will fit you with your compression corset. After that, the doctor will answer possible further questions once again and he will take pictures based on the initial findings. Finally, the zones of the body, where the fat pads are located, are marked.
In the operating room, the so-called tumescent solution is infiltrated into the underlying adipose tissue according to the skin markings. It mainly consists of common salt, local anesthetics and a vasoconstricting agent. Apart from a few stings, this procedure is painless for you. After a short pause, the actual treatment begins, in which the fat cells fully saturated with the solution can be suctioned very easily.
After the procedure, the physician convinces himself whether the desired result has been achieved. Once the intervention has been completed, you are then dressed by our team with the previously fitted compression garments. For protection against the emerging tumescence solution absorbing and insulating bandaging material is applied below. Since the skin still needs a while to adjust to the new underlay as smooth as possible, wearing the corsetry is useful for a period of about four to eight weeks. From the seventh day, you can do without the compression corset hourly.
You can normally follow up on your professional activity from the third day after the surgery. The result of the treatment can be finally assessed at the earliest eight weeks after the operation. In rare cases a fine correction can be necessary.
